Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: The technical institution named as I T I Taradapada was started 25 years ago in Jagatsinghpur for imparting techno education for post matric students celebrated its silver jubilee on Sunday in a colourful function organized in institution premises.

Bishnu Das local MLA attended the occasion as chef guest and district collector N C Jena , municipality chairman M S Sahoo, Himansu Acharya participated in the celebration and institution director Rashmi Ranjan Mishra presided the function. Speaking on the occasion chef guest MLA Mr Das praised the effort initiated by the institution particularly by its director for developing and spreading technical education in Jagatsinghpur surrounding areas, while industrial growth is booming in Paradeep there is urgent need for techno qualified personnel and the host ITI has been serving sincerely since past 25 years, however he assured giving necessary government help and financial assistance further developing the institution.

While speaking on the occasion collector too emphasized technical education requirement in recent times especially for the matric passed out students those were unable moving higher studies for manifold reasons. Director read out the annual reports and described the bumpy journeying of the institution since its inception. A souvenir was released by the chief guest and cultural function was organized by the institution students.
